Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Davide Frattesi in midfield and Yann Bisseck in defense against Udinese. This afternoon’s Serie A matchday 4 clash kicks off at 15.00 CET.

Inter are looking to bounce back from a defeat in the derby against AC Milan last weekend.

The Nerazzurri have had a week to reflect on last Sunday’s loss. Moreover, they have not had a European fixture to disrupt their preparations.

Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has the chance to name more or less a first-choice starting eleven, with the team having had plenty of rest.

The Nerazzurri coach isn’t thinking too much about squad rotation, accordingly.

But that doesn’t mean that Inzaghi hasn’t changed the team up.

Frattesi Starts In Midfield With Barella Out

Firstly, in midfield injury has forced Inzaghi’s hand.

Midfielder Nicolo Barella is absent due to a thigh strain he suffered in the derby. Therefore, Barella’s fellow Italian international Frattesi starts in his place.

Then, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Hakan Calhanogu complete the midfield trio.

Meanwhile, in defense there is another change.

Benjamin Pavard has yet to find his best form so far this season. Therefore, Germany Under-21 international Yann Bisseck gets the chance to start.

Then, it is Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni completing Inter’s back three.

In goal, meanwhile, Yann Sommer keeps his starting spot.

And on the flanks there is a further change. Former Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian takes the place of Denzel Dumfries at right-wingback.

Federico Dimarco, however, keeps his spot on the left flank.

Lastly, in attack Inzaghi has given the nod to captain Lautaro Martinez and French international Marcus Thuram.

Aside from Barella being out Inter have one other injury absentee – Canadian international Tajon Buchanan continues to recover from a broken leg.
