Two club directors have officially left Inter Milan as owners Oaktree Capital begin a behind-the-scenes shakeup at the club.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They also report that former Chief Commercial Offers Giorgio Ricci has returned from Juventus.

Behind the scenes, Inter owners Oaktree are reportedly starting to make some changes.

The most high profile could be the exit of current Nerazzurri Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello.

The Corporate CEO has not stepped down yet. But reports indicate that it is only a matter of time, as Oaktree have other ideas.

And in the meantime, Roma are reportedly ready to pounce and name Antonello as their new CEO.

But it is not just Antonello who could depart.

Oaktree want to make some other notable changes behind the scenes. They are putting their own imprint on Inter at the corporate and commercial level.

Moreover, the Inter owners are also responding to the ongoing scandal involving the club’s ultras. The handling of relations with the Curva Nord has left a bad taste in the owners’ mouths.

Two Inter Milan Directors Out The Door As Oaktree Begin Behind-The-Scenes Shakeup

According to Tuttosport, in the last 48 hours two Inter directors have headed for the exit door.

One is former Chief Marketing Offer Luca Danovaro.

And the other is Matteo Pedinotti. He had been another important figure in the communications sector of the club, and had also had close ties to former Inter President Steven Zhang.

Meanwhile, Oaktree have also brought in a criminal lawyer to work alongside Inter lawyer Angelo Capellini.

This is in response to the club’s entanglement in a criminal investigation into the Curva Nord ultras.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport report, while there have been some notable exits, there has also been a return of a familiar face.

Giorgio Ricci had been Chief Commercial Officer at Inter under Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir.

Ricci had left the Nerazzurri, and been at Juventus for the past several years.

However, report Tuttosport, Oaktree have brought the Chief Commercial Officer back to the Nerazzurri.
