Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will not be rotating his squad too radically against Venezia this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews. They report that the Inter coach is ready to rely on his captain Lautaro Martinez in particular.

Inter take on Venezia in Serie A this evening.

This will be the Nerazzurri’s fifth match in just two weeks since the October international break.

And then there are two more to come before the November break. These will be massive ones against Arsenal in the Champions League and then league leaders Napoli.

Inter coach Inzaghi knows that three points are absolutely essential here.

Slipping up and failing to beat relegation-threatened Venezia would be a major blow for the Nerazzurri as they aim to reassert themselves against Napoli in the Serie A title race.

Inzaghi Not Going To Rotate Too Heavily Vs Venezia – Lautaro Key

Naturally, Inter coach Inzaghi is ready to make at least a couple of changes this evening.

That is just par for the course at this stage of the season.

But according to the Corriere della Sera, there are not going to be wholesale alterations to the starting eleven by any means.

Naturally, Inzaghi is very wary of the possibility of naming a starting eleven that is disjointed or is lacking too many key players.

Venezia may be at the bottom end of the table. But they more than showed their quality with a 3-2 win over Udinese in midweek.

Therefore, Inzaghi will largely name a strong team. Even one close to the first-choice starting eleven.

And in particular, the Corriere della Sera reports, the Inter coach is counting on the best form of his captain Lautaro Martinez.

Martinez has yet to really catch fire in front of goal this season.

But the Argentine’s goal against Empoli on Wednesday was a sign that he is ready to push on.
