Striker Marko Arnautovic could get the start for Inter Milan in this evening’s Serie A match against Venezia.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to make a change in attack for the clash.

Inter coach Inzaghi is thinking about how to manage his players over the next few matches.

The Nerazzurri host Venezia in Serie A this evening.

But this is just the first in a sequence of three matches in the space of a week before the start of the November international break.

Moreover, Inter have already played four matches in just a couple of weeks leading into this evening. They beat Empoli away just on Wednesday.

Therefore, Inzaghi is mindful of the need to make at least a few changes to the starting eleven.

The Nerazzurri coach will hardly want to overuse key players in such a demanding period of the season.

Marko Arnautovic Could Start For Inter In Serie A Clash Vs Venezia

One area where Inzaghi is likely to make a change, according to Tuttosport, is in attack.

The Nerazzurri’s first-choice strike partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram have started in both of their last two matches. They started against Juventus and then Empoli.

And considering that Inter have both Arsenal and Napoli on the way, Inzaghi will want both of that duo to remain as fresh as is possible at this stage of the campaign.

As such, the Inter coach has been thinking about a change in attack.

Former Porto striker Mehdi Taremi may seem the logical choice in that respect.

And reports over the last couple days have suggested that the Iranian international is the favourite to start.

But according to Tuttosport, Arnautovic has looked likelier and likelier to get the nod.

The 35-year-old has convinced Inzaghi in training, and could be the ideal solution to avoid burning the other strikers in the squad out against relegation-battling Venezia.
