There is just one major doubt for the Inter Milan starting eleven in Sunday’s Serie A match away to Fiorentina.
Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that Matteo Darmian is slightly ahead of Denzel Dumfries to start the match at right-wingback.
Inter take on Fiorentina in Serie A on Sunday evening.
This weekend’s match will undoubtedly be a very tough one for the Nerazzurri.
Fiorentina are currently level on points with Inter in the Serie A table. That is a reflection of their highly impressive start to the season.
La Viola have already gotten some big scalps such as Roma and Inter’s city rivals AC Milan.
And the fact that the match is at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence will make it all the trickier for Inter.
Just One Major Doubt For Inter Starting XI In Serie A Clash Vs Fiorentina
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is certainly going to want to name a strong starting eleven.
The Nerazzurri boss will more or less aim to go with the strongest possible lineup available.
And according to the Gazzetta, the coach’s biggest selection doubt comes on the right flank.
Both Matteo Darmian and Denzel Dumfries have vied for the starting spot at right-wingback for several seasons.
But the Gazzetta report that it is former Manchester United and Torino veteran Darmian who looks to be the favourite.
