Yesterday’s Serie A clash between Fiorentina and Inter Milan was interrupted by a shock medical emergency to midfielder Edoardo Bove.

The 22-year-old collapsed on the pitch just after the fifteen-minute mark.

Both sets of players were visibly distraught after the incident.

Bove was taken to hospital to receive treatment.

And the Italian international has regained consciousness. News about his condition has been encouraging after the scare at the Franchi.

Inter took to Twitter to give a message of support. They wrote, “We’re with you, Forza Edoardo!”
