Carlos Augusto is ready to return for Inter Milan against Parma, while Francesco Acerbi is a doubt for Tuesday’s match against Bayer Leverkusen.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report on the mixed injury news for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.

Inter have been missing a couple players due to muscle injuries.

Wingback Augusto picked up a knock last week. He missed the (postponed) Serie A clash with Fiorentina on Sunday due to a thigh problem.

Meanwhile, Acerbi has been recovering from a thigh strain.

The 36-year-old had previously missed a few matches with a separate thigh strain before the November international break.

Carlos Augusto Ready To Make Inter Return – Francesco Acerbi Could Miss Bayer Leverkusen Clash

According to the Gazzetta, Augusto has already put his minor thigh problem behind him.

Therefore, there is no doubt that the Brazilian will be ready for a call-up for Inter’s next match.

The Nerazzurri face Parma in Serie A tomorrow evening.

On the other hand, despite promises from Inter coach Simone Inzaghi that Acerbi would return more quickly than he had done the last time he had a thigh strain, the Italian international is still not back.

Acerbi will definitely miss tomorrow’s match. The former Lazio defender continues to work towards his recovery in training.

But at the moment, it’s not certain whether Acerbi will be able to feature against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
