Inter Milan’s talks with Newell’s Old Boys for midfielder Tomas Perez and Mateo Silvetti are stalling.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the two clubs are still unable to agree terms on a transfer.
In the last few weeks, Inter have been working on deals for two Newell’s Old Boys players.
The Nerazzurri have tried to sign teenage midfielder Tomas Perez, and forward Mateo Silvetti.
The negotiations for Perez, in particular, had seemingly been close to wrapped up. Perez even had reportedly scheduled a medical on a move to Inter.
Inter Talks For Newell’s Duo Tomas Perez & Mateo Silvetti Stalling
There had been a meeting between Inter and Newell’s President Ignacio Astore last week.
That had seemingly been very positive, and got the deal for Perez in particular close to being over the line.

Inter reportedly see Perez and Silvetti as prospects for their Under-23 team next season.
However, reports the Gazzetta, Inter and Newell’s have been unable to reach a final agreement.
The Argentine club have continued to raise their demands. And Inter have been unwilling to meet them.
Therefore, it is now looking very doubtful that either Perez or Silvetti will join Inter.
