Italian journalist Paolo Condo insists Nicola Zalewski has already done more for Inter Milan than Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi.
Speaking to Corriere della Sera via FCInter1908, Condo analyzed Italian clubs’ activities in the January transfer window.
Unlike many other Serie A clubs, Inter didn’t make high-profile signings this winter.
For example, AC Milan signed Kyle Walker, Joao Felix, Santiago Gimenez, and Warren Bondo.
Meanwhile, Juventus brought Randal Kolo Muani, Lloyd Kelly, and Renato Veiga.
However, Nicola Zalewski was the only winter addition at the San Siro.
Strengthening probably the most well-knit squad in the division is an arduous task.
Therefore, Inter chose to tread carefully in the market.
Zalewski’s arrival compensated for the club’s decision to loan Tajon Buchanan out to Villarreal.
Otherwise, the Pole would’ve likely stayed at Roma.
Buchanan’s late departure could prove a blessing in disguise if early signs are anything to go by.
Indeed, Zalewski impressed Simone Inzaghi on his debut.
Paolo Condo Sings Praise on Inter Milan Winter Signing Nicola Zalewski & Compares Him with Zielinski & Taremi
Zalewski made a vital assist off the bench to inspire Inter to a gut-wrenching 1-1 draw against AC Milan last Sunday.
Condo believes the 23-year-old has had a more profound impact than summer signings Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi combined.

“Inter got more out of Zalewski yesterday than their entire summer transfer window.”
Then, Condo discussed the club’s decision not to pursue a new center-forward.
Despite Taremi’s struggles and Marko Arnautovic’s bit-part role, Inter refused to sign a new striker.
“Replacing one of the backup strikers might have made sense, but OakTree probably didn’t give the green light.
“The fact remains that they were losing the derby and threw everyone in except them.”
Hopefully, Inter will not regret their market choices come May.
I say, give this boy some competitive playing time with the squad before jumping into conclusions. The early signs are quite promising but still very early to judge and make comparisons with others.
its only just one match. seems this journalist too exaggerate. hope zalewsky not over confidence. he need to proof his consistency.
