Simone Inzaghi could change the formation for Sunday’s clash between Juventus and Inter Milan if Marcus Thuram is unavailable.
This according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb. They report that Thuram is almost certain to be available, but that if he’s not Inzaghi could switch to a 3-5-1-1 shape.
At the moment, Inter striker Marcus Thuram is recovering from an ankle knock.
This is the problem that forced the Frenchman off in the first half of Monday’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina.
There is no serious injury for Thuram. Therefore, the 27-year-old should be back fairly swiftly.
However, Marcus Thuram is yet to make a return to full training. He is working individually to shake off the ankle problem.
Inzaghi Could Use 3-5-1-1 In Juventus Vs Inter Clash If Thuram Out
TMW confirm that chances are very good that Marcus Thuram will be available against Juventus.
However, on the chance that the Frenchman cannot start, Inter coach Inzaghi could change things up.

Rather than starting Mehdi Taremi alongside Lautaro Martinez in attack, the Inter coach could start Lautaro Martinez as a lone striker.
In that case, it would be Henrikh Mkhitaryan who plays as an attacking midfielder. The system would be a 3-5-1-1 rather than the usual 3-5-2 for Inzaghi’s Inter.
