Wingback Nicola Zalewski could make his full debut for Inter Milan in Saturday’s Serie A match against Genoa.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908. They report that an injury to Carlos Augusto could hand the Pole his first start for the Nerazzurri.
Nicola Zalewski joined Inter right at the end of the January transfer window. He signed on loan from Roma with a purchase option, as a replacement for Tajon Buchanan.
So far, Zalewski has played three times for Inter, against AC Milan, Fiorentina, and Juventus. All three appearances have come off the bench,

But according to the Corriere, this weekend Zalewski could take a further step. He could actually start a match for Inter.
At the moment, the fitness of wingback Carlos Augusto is in serious doubt.

The Brazilian sustained a calf bruise in Sunday’s Derby d’Italia loss to Juventus.
Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will find his options limited if he wants to rest Federico Dimarco on the left flank.
As such, that could mean the perfect opportunity for Zalewski. According to the Corriere there is a good chance that the 23-year-old will start on Saturday.
