The Italian Referees Association has appointed Luca Zufferli as the main referee for Saturday’s Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Monza.
As confirmed by Lega Calcio via FCInterNews, Zufferli will blow the first whistle at the San Siro this weekend.
Inter will be out to bounce back from last weekend’s heartbreaking 1-1 draw at Napoli.
Indeed, Simone Inzaghi conceded a late equalizer in an intense top-table six-pointer in Naples.
A stomach-wrenching result at the Maradona Stadium helped the Nerazzurri preserve a one-point lead at the top.
However, there will be no margin for error against relegation-threatened Monza this weekend.
