Fabrizio Biasin feels that Simone Inzaghi kept Inter Milan for no net spend, while Jose Mourinho “spent millions.”
Speaking on Chiamarsi Bomber, via FCInter1908, Biasin hailed the job Inzaghi has done at Inter. He noted how little the former Lazio coach has had to work with compared to coaches who have succeeded before.
Simone Inzaghi became Inter Milan coach in the summer of 2021.
Inzaghi replaced Antonio Conte on the Nerazzurri bench. He arrived after having built his reputation over more than five years as Lazio coach.
And it was no secret why Conte had left Inter.
The financial situation at the Nerazzurri was going to force big sales. And Inzaghi was well aware of the fact that he’d lose big name players – and have little in the way of resources to replace them.
In Inzaghi’s first summer as Inter coach, the Nerazzurri sold both Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku.
And over the past few years, there have been quite a few other notable departures.
But Inter have always seemingly managed to maintain their level. Even while having to rely on free transfers and bargain signings.
Biasin: “Inzaghi Kept Inter Milan Competitive For €0 Net Spent – Mourinho Spent Millions”
Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin argued that “Inzaghi has a right to be tetchy.”
“The credit he gets at Inter comes from abroad. But not really within Italy.”

“People here point the finger at Inzaghi if he doesn’t win one match,” Biasin noted. “They talk about referees.”
But Inzaghi has had “200 matches in Nerazzurri. 133 wins, 2.18 points per match.”
“He has the highest percentage of wins in Inter’s history,” noted Biasin. “Sooner or later Inzaghi will have the chance to look in the mirror and congratulate himself.”
“But in the meantime he’s brought another €100 million in revenues into the club’s coffers” with another successful Champions League campaign.
Biasin noted that “for three and half years, Inzaghi has had a team built with €0 net spend.”
“Mourinho had teams with players with hundreds of millions of euros when he was successful,” Biasin noted.
“Inzaghi’s contract extension has to be wrapped up now,” he added.

How can anyone be comparing the achievements of Mou with that of inzaghi if not hatred and envy.
he needs 3-4 more and strong players. most 9f the players are over-used, starting from defence to attack.
Osktree, please wake up!!!!
The numbers are not enough, Inter needs 22 equally strong players in order to pursue
70 matches in a season
and damaged Juventus 2 years ago and never inspected by italian FA!⁵
I think Inzaghi does not get enough credit for what he achieved with rejects and pensioners. people who praise Cunte do not realize that Cunte left us and took money while going as he knew he would get exposed when we lost our stars. Inzaghi took these guys and kept them Uber competitive despite little to no investment from the management.
Exactly
Mourinho won a treble with what was considered an average team. Enough said
