Inter Milan have been enjoying a brilliant Champions League campaign. But can they go all the way in Europe’s elite club competition?

The Nerazzurri finished the group-stage campaign by incredibly conceding a single goal in eight fixtures. The Italian champions finished fourth, thus securing a direct route to the Round of 16. The Nerazzurri opened up their knockout-stage experience with two contests against Feyenoord.

They ended up beating the Dutch giants rather comfortably to claim their place in the quarter-finals.

Inter’s impressive group-stage position proved key to securing a relatively easy road to the Final 8.

Nevertheless, Inter would still have a mountain to climb if they were to reach the final stages, beginning with a doubleheader against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.

The first leg will be played at the Allianz Arena on April 8th, while the return fixture will take place at San Siro on April 16th.

Yet, we should remember that the Nerazzurri have already proved their worth against some of the biggest names in the competition already, namely Man City and Arsenal.

Moreover, the Serie A champions boast the best defensive record in the competition. They only conceded one goal in seven fixtures.

And with their talisman Lautaro Martinez rediscovering his scoring touch, perhaps the stars will finally line up for the Beneamata.
