Inter Milan have equal Real Madrid for home wins under Simone Inzaghi with another San Siro victory against Cagliari.

Inter Milan beat Cagliari in Serie A yesterday evening.

It was a vital win for the Nerazzurri in the context of the title race. They have put the pressure right back on Napoli, who face Empoli tomorrow.

Moreover, Inter have kept their momentum going after their Champions League quarterfinal first leg win over Bayern Munich in midweek.

And it was only the latest win at the San Siro for Inter Milan under Simone Inzaghi.

The Nerazzurri coach has really turned the iconic stadium into a fortress for the Nerazzurri.

So much so, that Inter have now managed to win a total of 54 matches at the San Siro since the former Lazio coach took over. That’s in Serie A alone.

That is the same number of league home wins that Real Madrid have managed in the period.

And as the Gazzetta highlight, only two teams have more.

Those are Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool.
