Simone Inzaghi is planning to make six changes to the Inter Milan starting eleven against Bayern Munich compared to the team that faced Cagliari.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League this week.
The Nerazzurri face a potentially season-defining clash in Wednesday’s quarterfinal second leg.
Inter are protecting a slender 2-1 advantage of the second leg. But they know full well that few teams that they will face this campaign are as formidable as Bayern.
Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi took Bayern into consideration with his lineup against Cagliari over the weekend.
Inter beat the Rossoblu 3-1 in Serie A on Saturday. And they did so having made six changes to the team that beat Bayern last week.

But for the second leg against Bayern, Simone Inzaghi is once again planning to go all-out. He will name what he sees as his strongest possible starting eleven.
In defense, therefore, it will be a complete reshuffle.
All of Benjamnin Pavard, Francesco Acerbi, and Alessandro Bastoni got a rest from the start against Cagliari. That followed the monumental effort defending their penalty area against Bayern last Tuesday.
But all three will be back on Wednesday, They will take the places of Yann Bisseck, Stefan de Vrij, and Carlos Augusto.
Meanwhile, in midfield Henrikh Mkhitaryan will take the place of Davide Frattesi.
Then, on the right flank, Matteo Darmian will come in for Nicola Zalewski.
Lastly, in attack the Corriere report that Marko Arnautovic will drop out of the lineup despite his stellar performance against Cagliari over the weekend.
It will be Marcus Thuram partnering Inter captain Lautaro Martinez yet again.
