However, Inzaghi’s extension is not a foregone conclusion.

Indeed, the ex-Lazio boss stands at a crossroads amid Al-Hilal’s genuine effort to lure him to the desert.

With a stratospheric €50 million offer for a two-year contract on the table, no one would blame him for reassessing his options.

For the moment, Simone Inzaghi only cares about Saturday’s Champions League final.
