Inter Milan will not re-purchase Giovanni Fabbian from Bologna despite the rumors linking the Italian with a return to the San Siro.
Per Sport Mediaset via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri will pass on the buyback clause and focus on other priorities.
Inter retained the option to re-sign Fabbian after his 2023 move to Bologna. Yet, they will let the 22-year-old stay at Renato Dall’Ara.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri could’ve brought Fabbian back for only €12 million this summer.
However, they’ve chosen not to give him another chance.
Inter Milan Decide Not to Re-Sign Giovanni Fabbian from Bologna

Inter’s decision could facilitate Fabbian’s transfer elsewhere.
Despite missing an opportunity for a fresh start at the San Siro, the midfielder could still secure a big move this summer.
According to the same report, Lazio have set their sights on the Padova youth academy graduate.
Lazio’s interest could mean they’re preparing for life after Nicolo Rovella.
Meanwhile, Rovella has emerged as a genuine target for Inter amid talks Hakan Calhnaoglu could leave the club.
Therefore, this decision could set off a chain reaction.
Why cant Inter just buy him for 12mil and sell him for 20mil to lazio
i agree –
they know something we dont or Chivu has other ideas —
and now chala looking at galatas might open doors for rovella younger blood – they need to revitalize the center mid …
they looked very sluggish other nite vs monterrey many opportunities to close the game and missed !
Strange decision…. his market value would be above €12 million, even if you wanted to use him as a make weight….. very odd….
if true, its going to haunt us. he is easily worth more than that and will definitely mature in the coming 1-2 years.
he is one of the few academy players if not the only one who have had consistent playing time in serie A and being decisive for his team too.
definitely worth more than Asslani
just sign him and get rid of asllani wtf is going on with inter nowadays 12m is a good deal for fabbian
