According to FCInterNews, the reason for Pavard’s sudden withdrawal from the squad is an ankle problem.
This is an issue that the former Bayern Munich defender has been dealing with for some time.
Pavard suffered an ankle sprain during Inter’s Serie A loss to Roma in April.
This injury caused the 29-year-old to miss a number of matches. However, he did start the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
Nevertheless, the ankle issue has continue to bother Pavard. And today, the issue was flaring up.
Therefore, Pavard pulled out of the squad as a precaution.
Benji is a good player, but it’s useless to have such a good CB/RB like him if he can’t be there when we need him.
His physical problems have gotten more intense since he joined Inter, so there must be something wrong with the physical preparation/recovery area in the club…
if he is injured again,, then we better just sell him this summer
If a decent offer or really any offer comes and he accepts it then Inter would be stupid not to take it. He’s spending more time injured than actually playing
