Atalanta’s Ederson and Como’s Lucas Da Cunha have joined Nicolo Rovella on Inter Milan’s shortlist of targets to replace Hakan Calhanoglu.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are awaiting offers for Hakan Calhanoglu this summer.
The Nerazzurri are well aware that the 31-year-old is a priority target for Galatasaray. Meanwhile, clubs in the Saudi Pro League are also reportedly taking note.
Moreover, Tuttosport anticipate, Inter do not consider Calhanoglu to be “unsellable.”
The Turk earns €6.5 million net per season on a contract until the end of June 2027. Therefore, if Inter were to sell him it would save them approximately €26 million in gross wages.
As such, Inter will definitely listen to offers as they contemplate rebuilding their midfield.
Ederson & Da Cunha Join Rovella On Inter Shortlist Of Calhanoglu Replacements

Should Inter sell Calhanoglu this summer, then they will certainly go in search of an adequate replacement for the former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.
And as Tuttosport note, there are a few players on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist of potential targets.
It is no secret that Inter are eyeing up a move for Lazio midfielder Nicolo Rovella. He would constitute a relatively like-for-like replacement for Calhanoglu.
However, Tuttosport report, there are also a couple of other midfielders from within Serie A who Inter could move for if Calhanoglu leaves.
One would be Atalanta midfielder Ederson. Then, Como’s Lucas Da Cunha is also on the Nerazzurri’s radar, Tuttosport report.
Why the heck we are insisting to sell Hakan? He is still a great midfielder with few more years to go. Keep him instead of spending 50 million for someone who is not better. Reinforce our defense. Many of them are too old.
Thomas Partey is FREE!!! we should sign him ASAP.
Ederson can’t shoot and the next person an unknown. Rovella is the best option.
Ederson would be a boost for us, but at 70 mln I don’t see it happening. With Inter’s budget limitations, I would not spend more than 50 mln on a player, no matter who.
