Swiss giants Basel have reportedly joined the race for Inter Milan misfit Tomas Palacios.
According to Fabrizio Romano via FCInterNews, Basel have already established contact with the Nerazzurri to discuss terms.
Despite signing Tomas Palacios only last summer, Inter have placed the 22-year-old on the market.
Indeed, the Argentine defender has failed to meet expectations at San Siro.
Therefore, the Serie A runners-up are keen to cash in on him by the end of the summer.
Basel Take Interest in Inter Milan Flop Tomas Palacios

Inter paid Independiente Rivadavia around €6.5 million to sign Palacios last summer.
However, after failing to secure regular first-team action in Milan, he joined Monza on a short-term loan in January.
With the Biancorossi losing their Serie A status, Palacios has returned to base.
But it should only be temporary.
Indeed, Inter will listen to offers for their outcast, as they aim to raise cash for further reinforcements.
Meanwhile, Basel would be happy to give Palacios the benefit of the doubt.
They’ve already contacted Inter to make a loan bid. Now it’s up to the Nerazzurri to decide.
Buy for 10 sell for 6. Inter’s motto. I can’t wait to see how will we get on bony in 2 years. Pay 25 sell for 10 ?
