Ademola Lookman has tried to force a move, but that hasn’t changed the deadlock between Inter Milan and Atalanta.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the player’s rebellion has come to nothing, with talks still at a standstill.

Lookman has taken drastic measures to secure his transfer to San Siro.

Indeed, the 27-year-old has refused to train with Ivan Juric’s squad and deleted all social media posts in La Dea’s jersey.

However, his effort could be in vain.

It’s easy to tell what Ademola Lookman has tried to accomplish.

Yet, his actions are seemingly not bothering Atalanta, who are holding out for their €50 million asking price.

Therefore, the ball is in Inter’s court. They must improve their €45 million bid to finally seal the deal.

Lookman remains the club’s highest priority despite drawn-out negotiations with Atalanta.

However, there’s a contingency plan in place.

Chelsea flop Christopher Nkunku is the likeliest alternative, with Jadon Sancho emerging as another fallback option.
