Parma have reportedly overtaken Cagliari in the race to sign out-of-favor Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito.
According to Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews, the Crusaders are closing in on the 23-year-old’s signing.
Despite being the first club to make contact with Inter, Cagliari are on the verge of missing out on Esposito’s signature.
Indeed, Parma have sped up negotiations with the San Siro club and may soon confirm the center-forward’s arrival.
Parma Overtake Cagliari in Race for Inter Milan Ace Sebastiano Esposito

Cagliari had hoped to sign Sebastiano Esposito on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
However, Inter prefer an outright transfer, which favors Parma.
Indeed, the Crusaders have struck an agreement with the Nerazzurri on the basis of €4 million.
Furthermore, they’ve agreed to include a substantial percentage of any future resale as part of the deal.
As such, Esposito could soon pen a multi-year contract at Stadio Ennio Tardini.
His exit could be the first of many, with Inter actively searching for suitors for Kristjan Asllani and Mehdi Taremi.
now give us Leoni!!
I believe that was the whole point. 2 mil cheaper than the other offer plus sell on fee. So maybe parma will want 25-30 plus fee from future transfer. Seems fair given his price on transfermarkt is 18, but the media overhyped him.
