Inter Milan stars Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella performed on opposite sides of the positivity spectrum in last night’s Serie A win over Fiorentina.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Turkish ace soaked up the limelight as Inter’s headline performer in a 3-0 rout of La Viola.
That was nothing less than Hakan Calhanoglu deserved for another outstanding showing this season.
Indeed, the 31-year-old needed his second league brace of the campaign, leading Inter to a much-needed victory.
Calhanoglu Top, Barella Flop in Inter Milan 3-0 Fiorentina

In stark contrast to Calhanoglu’s remarkable performance, Nicolo Barella was merely a shadow of his former self.
In fact, it’s hard to remember the last time the diminutive midfielder misplaced so many passes.
Whether it was fatigue or simply a night off, yet Barella looked a shadow of his former self.
On the bright side, Alessandro Bastoni returned to form and nearly even scored a fantastic opener in the first half.
Unfortunately, David de Gea came up huge to deny the Italian defender, who made a crucial interception to set himself up one-on-one with the Spaniard.
