Inter Milan scored three unanswered second-half goals in last night’s morale-boosting 3-0 home victory over Fiorentina.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri put on a show in the second half after a disjointed first-half performance.
Despite dominating possession and keeping Fiorentina far away from Yann Sommer’s goal, Inter failed to create many scoring chances before halftime.
However, they had two glorious opportunities to break the deadlock, only for David de Gea to deny them on both occasions.
Indeed, the veteran goalkeeper made two phenomenal saves to thwart Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco.

With De Gea showing glimpses of his prime, Inter needed something special to find a well-deserved breakthrough.
And midfield stalwart Hakan Calhanoglu provided just that. Indeed, he beat the Spanish star from distance with a superb strike to open the scoring in the 66th minute.
Buoyed by Calhanoglu’s goal, Inter quickly doubled their lead through Petar Sucic, who opened his Nerazzurri account in sublime fashion.
Finally, the Turkish superstar sealed Fiorentina’s fate with another spot-kick goal, capping off a dream night at San Siro.
