Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are reportedly keeping close tabs on highly-rated Cagliari goalkeeper Elia Caprile.

According to FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri scouts were at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia to observe Caprile in Cagliari’s away game against Como last weekend.

Cagliari held Cesc Fabregas’ side to a commendable 0-0 draw, with Elia Caprile emerging as one of the Sardinians’ heroes.

Indeed, the 24-year-old registered only his second clean sheet in Serie A this season despite facing six shots on target.

That’s largely thanks to Caprile, who continued his outstanding for at the start of the 2025/26 season.

Meanwhile, Inter are monitoring the ex-Napoli star’s progress with close attention.

With the Nerazzurri ready to wave goodbye to Swiss veteran Yann Sommer, they’re in the market for a new goalkeeper.

In addition to Caprile, the San Siro giants are also keen on Freiburg ace Noah Atubolu.

However, the Italian might be a more affordable option for the club.
