Gary Medel gave a brief interview to Premium Sport ahead of the Serie A fixture in Florence where Fiorentina host the Nerazzurri.
“We have worked well after the derby, it will be a difficult match but we must win. We have to pay attention and be meaner than they are, Fiorentina play well when retaining possession. We have come here to win, to qualify for the Europa League. We have to go all in to play in Europe.”
A few moments later Medel also spoke with Sky underlining the importance of a win against Firoentina stating: “After the derby Pioli told us to pay more attention. It will be difficult to qualify for Europe but we’re Inter and we have to play in Europe. Kalinic’s absence? It will give us an advantage but they have a lot of strong players, we have to only think about winning.”
