somehow, i feel like Spaletti is not the right person for Inter. His biggest achievement in Italy was winning Coppa Italy with Roma (same with Mazzarri who did it with Napoli) and being runner up this season (more or less the same with Lazio’s Pioli). So, I think if Spaletti is the next manager, he will end up like Mazzarri and Pioli, sacked.
Agree I´m not convinced by him at all either. As you said he hasn’t won much in Italy even though I think he won with Zenit.

No it´s not easy to understand what his role will be. But it seems like he´s going to be “above” Ausilio as our “head-sporting director” or something like that. If not Ausilio simply will be made to take on a slightly different role at Inter.
Saba seems to be the one responsible for building a strong group of people to run the club overseeing the youth department and all the head coaches there for both Jiangsu and us and of course to find a new coach for us ASAP – a work he is doing with Ausilio it seems, plus probably a new coach for Jiangsu in the nearest future.
When it comes to transfers he is also the main man there – with Ausilio I guess.
It´s all rumors but maybe he´s the one who pointed out Oriali as our strong man between the team and management and there are also rumors about him meeting Conte 3 weeks ago in London and even meeting Pochettino in London too!

Don’t think it has anything to do with pride – it´s just when two people have been working together for many years and worked well then it´s pretty natural that they will keep that up anywhere there career takes them.
But of course I hope for someone else than Spalletti…
