Sassuolo’s star of the show in their 2-1 win over Inter today, Pietro Iemello, has confessed to Sky Sport that he’s an Inter fan and his two goals were a dream come true.
“Today we played a great game, and all the rest, the double, the round of applause, it’s all a dream come true as I’m also an Inter fan, and I came to San Siro very often as a kid,” the striker said.
“Today, the environment was not the best for them, the stadium did not help but this is a big team. They have so many top players, and they will come out of it surely.
“As for us, Di Francesco is famous for his ability with young people and with youngsters coming from the lower leagues, like me. He told me that I would have to pay for dinner for everyone for a week after that double. Seriously, this is a big group, we are happy.”
