Massimo Moratti spoke on the sidelines of the Il Bello del calcio award ceremony on Inter and the recent turmoil: “Right now we’re all disappointed but we must be able to look past this. There is little to comment on, it is a psychological problem. In these cases there is only the need to understand where there is a light and get on the field without thinking too much about the future, while working to make it better.”

The former Inter president then discussed Suning, “These new shareholders are trying to build something, but have had no luck at the moment. The group and the people are very serious. You have to trust them. The arrival of Walter Sabatini? I do not I know, he should be evaluated.”

He then discussed the sacking of Stefano Pioli last week, “I found it quite normal. I found a pretty obvious decision, while respecting Pioli.”

Moratti was then asked if he had a preference between Antonio Conte and Diego Simeone for the next coach, ” I do not hope for anything.”

He concluded discussing the prospect of Juventus winning the treble, as Inter did back in 2010: “It ‘s normal that there may be other teams that they can do the same.”
