Steven Zhang, Sporting Director Piero Ausilio and Technical Coordinator had a three hour summit yesterday and discussed a number of topics with the upcoming transfer market being one of the key topics Gianluca Di Marzio reports through his website.
The Nerazzurri management wish to go forward with Mauro Icardi, Samir Handanovic, Antonio Candreva, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Gary Medel, Roberto Gagliardini and Andrea Pinamonti Gianluca Di Marzio reports through his website. Yuto Nagatomo, Davide Santon, Marcelo Brozovic, Jeison Murillo, Rodrigo Palacio, Juan Pablo Carrizo will all leave Inter over the course of the summer on a permanent basis. Gabigol is expected to leave on loan. The futures of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Ivan Perisic, Marco Andreolli, Eder and Miranda are all up in the air.
On the incoming side of things, Inter are strongly focused on shopping in Rome for defensive reinforcements. Roma duo Kostas Manolas and Antonio Rudiger are options as is Lazio’s Stefan de Vrij. Pepe is another. For the midfield, Inter have Kevin Strootman, Radja Nainggolan and even Corentin Tolisso in mind. In the attack, the Nerazzurri will sign either Federico Bernardeschi or Domenico Berardi.

What about left back? That is one of the biggist needs at the moment, right?
you don’t need a LB you have NAGATOMO – The Symbol of Inter’s last 7 years 🙂
A left-back has been left back for Inter since the days of Gresko. Remember them? Ever since we sold Carlos to Real, we’ve shuffled through them like bad underwear . Coco, Chivu (a centre back used as a left-back) Pereira, Nagatomo & some real stellar names at that position for us. It’s jined, I tell you.
I sometimes feel like Shawshank Redemption, dreaming of a quality left-back, before the management comes in to fuck my arse with names like the ones I mentioned.
I find it rather funny all these rumors about Roma players joining us, as if they’d sell half their squad to us in one summer lool.
Maybe we can buy one but we’d prolly have to pay double the value of the lad.
Roma need money for the FFP by the end of June – just like us. And many of their players are refusing to sign new contracts (Manolas and Strootman) and I guess the players could force the moves through if they want to join us. And with Spalletti set to join us players like Manolas and even Nainggolan who both have exploded under Spalletti´s guideness might fell tempted to join us with him!
That FFP thing is still a bit of a mystery for me. I mean Ausilio was bragging that we could sign Ronaldo if it wasn´t for the FFP, but if we have so much money then why not just ignore the whole stupid FFP? It will be interesting to see what the reality will be in the summer. And I thought Roma were already cleared from FFP, but we weren´t? Fucking FFP.
No both Roma and Inter has been cleared for LAST years FFP, which was official last month or so, but THIS years FFP ends in June and will be cleared this Autumn or 2018 by the slow working Uefa 😉
Of course Suning could buy Ronaldo, Messi and all the others if no FFP – they are a giant in Asian a company that is growing more than 100% a year and his super rich!
But true; No Europe next year COULD mean no need to follow the FFP, even though we would be in trouble when returning to Europe 2018-2019
Nothing really new here besides it the transfer-news guru Di Marzio who´s reporting it and he really knows his shit!
Slow but sure okay…but others already did same pretty good deal….
and we still havent had a target on left back…
If Emerson Palmieri, Manolas, Rudiger, Nainggolan and Strotman came along with Spaletti…i guess it could work..so they just need a bit of adaptation…
Handa-EP-Manolas-Rudiger-Dumbro-Gaglia-Strootman-Nainggolan-Candreva-Berardi-Icardi…
Though I don’t think that this squad is strong enough…Candreva, Berardi, Caprari, Barbosa all have tendency as left sided attacker/winger..and maybe only Caprari that have direct style on one-on-one..
Not to mention that Icardi still only decent at best on hold-up play or create chances for himself out of nothing…so our wingers and trequartista should always supply him with good enough passes for him to finish.
Well…i’m positive though that we will have a good mercato…
Or else if we take chance on expiring players contract it could be:
Handa-EP-Manolas-Pepe-Zabaleta-Yaya Toure-Gagliardini-Iniesta-Candreva-Berardi-Icardi.
i just wanna share my though:
4-2-3-1 Form for upcoming season
…………………….Icardi
..Bernardeschi – Joao Mario – Berardi
………..Nainggolan – Gagliardini
….Mendy – De Vrij – Rudiger – Conti
…………………Handanovic
Will never happen, but that would be such an exciting team to watch.
Obviously, first priority should be offloading those clowns and fakers who have not given their best since years ago. We all know the names. This must be done asap. Either sell cheap, rescind their contracts or ship them to China. Sabatini should kick Ausilio’s nuts if he failed again to offload all these clowns.
Secondly, we need to sell some names to meet FFP rules otherwise we could be fined or even given transfer ban (worst case). I hate to say this but Perisic is the only name that could bring us decent money. Perhaps 35-40 million euros. Broz can follow him as well since their heads are already at EPL. Hopefully we can get 55-60 million euros combined. Not forgetting Jovetic’s possible redemption fees and maybe some China clubs will break their banks for Banega.
Lastly, wait the new manager to be officially announced. Ask him what he needs and start working together to reach those names. Let’s start with two new solid fullbacks, for god sake. Then a new CB to bolster our defense. A midfielder who can run, tackle and build the play, a skillful winger who can really cross and cut inside and a backup striker who will give healthy competition to Icardi. We all know the names, but let’s just hold until the new manager comes. The new manager should have an authority and balls to decide who will come and go. Ausilio and Zhang must be supporting what the new manager needs.
I’m happy that we are waiting for a manager to come in and see what he wants. However, I hope that some of the names that are said to stay are not first team but back up(dambro, Candreva, Medel etc…)
Side note: JM and Gabigol were not mentioned in any of the lists…
Gabigol is expected to leave on loan
