He has been superb this season no doubt, but this has been his only truly great season in his career. For the majority of seasons he has just been a good, stable player. Its not like he is Hamsik or some other serie a midfielder with serveral exceptional seasons under his belt who is a guarantee to make a difference.
I dont really think blowing the entire budget on Roma players is the way to go. Buying from rival teams in serie a means 2x higher prices, Inter should do the majority of their shopping from outside serie a. Will get them much more for their money.

I see a lot of people here throwing highly important names for next season squad. My question is why would a player with European spot secured, regular playing time and earning high wages come to our team right now? As well as you guys I want the best possible players for my team, but I find it worthless to pursuit players like that right now when we are trying to clean this mess. We have to go for those very good players who are not playing for anything important next season. If we keep going this path, we’ll end up buying anything the last day of the market.

Casemiro won’t leave Madrid and viceversa. We should have got him when Kovacic got sold to Madrid as part of the deal. Chelsea won’t let Kante leave, and if that happens, then they’ll go all in for Naingolan. I really think Roma will sell him higher than those 50 m reported specially if he is to go to Inter.
