Gabigol’s agent Wagner Ribeiro has been sentenced to five years imprisonment for tax evasion. ESPN report that the agent declared just over a tenth of his 1.1 million earnings between 2002 and 2005. While Ribeiro can appeal the verdict, he will be unable to leave the country as he has to turn in his passport.
