De Rossi: “I hope Spalletti doesn’t prove how good he is at Inter.”

At the press conference prior to the Uruguay friendly, the Italian international and Roma midfielder, Daniele De Rossi spoke about Luciano Spalletti’s departure to Inter:

“It’s disappointing, as I am very fond of him and think he’s a great manager. I hope that he doesn’t prove how good he is at Inter, because they will be our rivals for the top spots. At least second place, if not more.”

There had been reports De Rossi could follow Spalletti to Inter: “I will not comment much, I have always dressed the same shirt, it would be somewhat strange to see me with another shirt of any other color.”
