Inter’s first match under Luciano Spalletti was a good outcome. The Nerazzurri defeated WSG Wattens 2-1 in a friendly with youngsters Pinamonti and Rover both finding the back of the net. The squad that Spalletti called up for this friendly mostly consisted of Primavera players, however, the Italian deployed first team defenders in order to have stability in the team as well as Kondogbia in the middle and Biabiany up front – each position had first team players to guide the youngsters. Pinamonti’s goal came in the first half – the young attacker scored just outside the penalty box while Rover’s goal came in the second half from a corner kick. In addition, new Inter young signings Zaniolo and Odgaard both had their debuts.

It was only Wattens, but Kondo’s defense was on another level with some great sliding tackles, this new youngster Zaniolo has a great left leg and Danso looks like little Matuidi. To sum it up, we have many interesting young players

I think it’s best if you actually watch the game and determine yourself. Everyone have their own opinion on players (ie. some like kondogbia and some thinks he’s garbage), so any answer would be meaningless unless you watch the game, just my opinion.
Zaniolo was impressive
The most stand out for me is pinamonti and vanheusden
have feeling spaletti maybe will hold ranocchia at least for this season. he like build from the back and ranocchia pretty decent on that aspect. the same reason why conte want him on juve long ago is because conte also like to build attack from the back. and from this game we can see he sending lots of balls to upfront.
Anyone informed about Joao Mario? I saw him in camp but he wasnt part of the squad today.
Mostly primavera and the players that are leaving were featured today! Second half team were the new young guys we signed! They looked good!
