Roma President James Pallotta spoke to SiriusXM on Inter Technical Coordintator Walter Sabatini, who was formerly the Sporting Director at the Stadio Olimpico: “I had lost a lot of confidence in him after the first two years, not just for the kind of players we were buying. The first two years were great, but we had to build on those and instead he just kept exchanging.”
Pallotta also spoke on Luciano Spalletti, who left the Roma bench for Inter at the start of the summer: “I went to his office and said ‘Luciano what’s going on today?’, Then I went out and went to ask someone what they think he meant. I loved him, But the press made him crazy. He just wanted to fight with them.”
