Chelsea manager Antonio Conte spoke ahead of the friendly with Inter: “What do I think of Luciano Spalletti’s Inter? They are doing very well, they already a team with an identity. All this creates confidence for the future of Inter.”
Conte, who was heavily linked with Inter prior to Spalletti’s appointment, spoke on those links also: “I do not think there should be any clarity on this topic. There were another two years of contract with Chelsea, so I decided to continue because it was right. I have a job to be done with this club.”
The former Juventus manager was then asked for his prediction for the upcoming Serie A season: “I prefer not to mention Serie A, I just want to think about the Premier League.”

Weirdly enough, I would say the words of conte seems to lessen my worries of next season. One of the key words he used which struck was ” a team with an identity”, I haven’t got to see the pre season matches unfortunately, however I hope conte is right in this sense.
He is…it isn’t firmly stamped though and don’t mean to jinx it but you can see the cogs to the inter machine finally clicking into place..players who were lost and now regaining themselves in a physiological as well as psychological sense.I’m seeing key members like handanovic and miranda being alot more vocal as well…no longer is the blind leading the blind and dispite our lack of signings..we only realistically need one more signing barring the arrival of dalbert.A right back would be nice though I’ve seen spaletti trying to use Murillo as rb anf he’s limited but not bad.Valietti is also a new name that has entered the fold and I see him having an important role this season. Sit tight bro Forza inter.
An additional positive note, for as long as I can remember inter has not hired a coach from a rival that has secured 2nd place the previous year. Even tho we hired Mancini who has won previously with us multiple times, however I think the game changed so much since then and spaletti has the experience on how to deal with teams in Serie A now. Therefore, he already proved he has man management as you have rightly mentioned and has the right experience at the right moment of time. I guess we have something to be hopeful about once again.
