Serves them right. I am fed up with teams trying to dick on us. I am very happy with how the management played this situation. We valued him at a price we were willing to sell at, and even suggested a player + cash alternative, United wanted to lowball us using FFP at first to force us into a shit situation, and then thinking we would buckle by bidding 5m under… get the f*** out.
