The Gazzetta dello Sport warns the Nerazzurri fans, despite Spalletti reiterating that Candreva is likely to stay, it may not be the case.
The impression is that the deal may take off in the event that the Londoners really come up with a check of 25-27 million that would unlock possibilities for Inter as the market comes to a close.
Inter may make the move official so that it may move for Patrick Schick and perhaps a few other signings to bolster the defense as well.

If the offer finally came, we should make that move. Candre wont get any younger.
BUT under this circumstances, our finace is slump, we are unable to take Shick or Cancelo, if we lose Candreva, most likely we wont be able to get a replacement, plus the time is getting more and more closer to the deadline.
Unless we have plenty in resources, I don’t think we should make this happen
If Candreva eventually leaves we will have to move for a Right side midfielder. but at this stage, I wonder who can we bring in. also Schick should not be a priority since we already have Icardi, Eder, Jovetic and young Pinamonti. If He leaves we sgould rather go for Berardi.
I don’t know. I’m good either way. Cancelo, Dalbert, Big Poppa Škriniar, Valero… Perišić staying… Spalletti… I don’t mind that much him staying, and I don’t mind selling him. I’m kinda “meh” about that now. Happy not to see Nagahomo and happy to see Perišić’s super runs. And even if Dalbert & Cancelo don’t do much good, I’m just glad we tried something and seeing someone new in defence.

If Candreva gets sold, which is highly unlikely, then another starting quality RW must be brought in (Berardi, Lucas, Yarmolenko, etc etc). Its too late in the mercato do attempt to make such a switch.
So no, it wouldnt open up anything for Schick, since he is neither RW nor starting quality yet.
Its pure bs anyways, Candreva is staying 99%.
