Debutant Matias Vecino spoke to Sky Sport after Inter beat Fiorentina 3-0: “The most important thing was for us to win, we did it playing well at times. It’s a good starting point, there are things to improve upon and we hope to be able to do so. It was special for me to face Fiorentina, the team that brought me to Europe. It was also special for Borja. We are on the right track, we must not give up. Can Inter can be the anti-Juve? We think about ourselves, match after match, already on Saturday we have another important match. It will be up to the manager to decide who plays in the midfield on Saturday with so many options. ”

Looks like a an improvement over Piolis clusterfvck approach already.
But this win is not something that should be read too much into. We beat a team that will no doubt finish in the bottom half of the table this season. Its been a long time since ive seen a Fiorentina side this bad tbh.
Inter has a pretty good schedule though, after Roma we have 5 matches against bottom table team before the derby, so plenty of time there to get Spallettis ideas better implemented as well as Dalbert and Cancelo integrated.
You must be drunk, Valero was classy
Nope, he cant defend and it showed.
He should only play AM.
what? valero is a beast stop trolling dude
don’t mind him. He is fans of other team try to disturb our balance
I belive you typed and pressed “Post as Azzkikr” before you thought of what you typed!
This guy right here had 97% pass accuracy with 47 passes. There is a difference between being invisible and putting in hard work without being flashy. He made some good tackles and interceptions while distributing the ball and balancing the midfield. I’m really torn between Gagliardini and him right now, both deserve to play.
37 out of his 47 passes were no longer than 2 metres to the player next to him. A few times he did not chase back which annoyed me a lot
Some of those passes were short but have been made under pressure from their players, when it’s very crucial to keep possession. Players like Kondogbia struggled in that aspect. I didn’t see too much of an issue with his work rate.
