Matias Vecino was interviewed by Sky Sport after the match following his debut goal which led to Inter winning 3-1 at the Stadio Olimpico.
“The coach has immediately showed me confidence, despite the fact that there were already many important players here. I always put myself at the disposal of the team to get the results we want like we did today. The wingers are an option for us, when the ball arrives to Ivan and Antonio they always hurt our opponents, and we who play behind them profit from this.”
“We shouldn’t put any limits on ourselves, we have to give everything we have and then see where we end up. We’re on the right track and need to continue like this. I have to improve my final pass, because this can really make the difference whilst I am very good at building play from behind. Uruguay is a much more technical and less physical side, this would be very important for how I play for the National team” Vecino concluded.

Dalbert did ok, mostly defensevily, but not that great yet offensively, it is very obvious that he still needs to grow with us quite a bit.
I am very interested in Cancelo, he might soon be a factor for us.
I would use both only in the 3/5 defense for now(however you want to call it,3 or 5 D, it’s the same thing).
And for now ,in the 4D,I would alternate them ,with the more defensive/ experienced guy between D’ambro and Naga on the other side.
I was very impressed with dalbert offensively, he showed excellent bursts of speed up the left wing and always made himself available as a outlet when perisic would look for support in the opposition penalty area, dalbert is a massive upgrade on nagatomo especially in attacking situations, dalbert has excellent ball control great awareness and positioning something nagatomo struggled with great passing especially his ability to cut back and cross the ball wrong attacking wing position all in all I believe in the next 3 weeks dalbert and cancelo will take over starting positions at left and right backs respectively,,, I was very disappointed with gagliadini!! With spelletti bringing in vaccino I think gagliadini will not be used anymore in first 11 spalletti loves vaccino and I prefer him with borja valero alongside in a deeper position ,,, unfortunately with gagliadini playing as bad as he did 2day he will struggle to see much time on field I was also disappointed with candreva and perisic play in the 1st half I know perisic will be fine but im starting to think candreva doesn’t seem very interested at times like in the 1st half when he tackled kolarov from behind he was lucky he wasn’t sent off with his poor attitude but I will give candreva credit for improving in 2nd half and assisting iccardi I just feel candreva is not happy something seems to be bothering him
You couldn’t write any name of our players correct. Screw you.
Just block him…
Agree, when Mangala or Mustafi have joined we’re set to switch to 3-4-3 wit him Perisic on the left and Candreva/ Keita if he joins on the right and a four man midfield with Dalbert and ambros/Concelo on the right with Vecino and Borja in the middle…. even though I still think the 4-2-3-1 system is what the club and coach wants..
you do realize dalbert saved 2 potential goals right? he is definitely an upgrade from nagatomo and besides it was his first game in a inter jersey.next week peresic icardi candreva joao mario valero vecino dalbert joao cancelo miranda skriner handanovic
Borja didn’t play well behind the attack. He doesn’t have the pace to cover that much ground and still fall back when need be. For me he’s perfect for a regista role like Pirlo was in Juventus. His corridor passes are top notch and he can hold the ball under pressure like noone else in the team.
Mario is the guy for the AM position. He’s an absolute beast with the ball in his feet and drastically changed the team in the second half. Dunno if Spal didn’t keep him on the bench for that reason tho. When he entered the field Nainggolan was already out of breath and we quickly won the midfield. Roma lost in the end cause they were fatigued. But if it was a tactical decision by Spal to wait till they’re tired, it was too much of a risk since we could have been losing by 4-0 by the time they slowed down.
