Icardi was clutch. he played the role of the Invisible Man then out of the blue he scored twice. we were very lucky indeed, but it was about time to have some of that. we are still 1 injury away (Perisic, Miranda, Icardi, Borja/Mario) from breakdown, Ausilio cant sit back and relax in the next few days
Dalbert is tied for MOM with the woodwork 😉 So I think he’ll be a starter from now on. As for Cancelo, I think he’ll be supersub or start in a 3-4-3. Dambro did his best and he really fought hard with Perotti. He’ll probably keep his spot unless Inter signs another RB.
Let’s be honest, Roma outplayed us for 65 minutes and dominated the MF. They missed a ton of clear chances and hit the pole 3 times. Dalbert cleared twice with Handa beaten. We were superior in the last 15 minutes when we were finally able to take control of the midfield thanks to the mister. I’m happy for the win but we were lucky Roma missed so much. Our weaknesses were exposed and I hope management took notes.

Conte is very intense and he’s a very sore loser. I think he would have crashed with the players’ personalities and put too much pressure on the young players. Spalletti is a nurturer and he’s brave, he didn;t change his tactics or game plan at 1:1 or 2:1. He went for the win and he made the right subs early on, instead of waiting till the 70th min like many other coaches do.
For sure. Dropping Gagliardini at the half was a brave move, and the right one. Great coaching display so far, much better than Pioli.
