Thanks to Inter Technical Coordinator Walter Sabatini’s relationship with Roberto Calenda, the agent of Keita Balde, the Senegalese attacker has opened up to a possible transfer to Inter. Corriere della Sera report that the reason behind this is the Lazio player is worried about spending the season in the stands as his relationship with the Biancocelesti being as good as non-existent.
Inter have yet to meet the €30 million demands of Lazio for the 22 year old but Stevan Jovetic’s €11 million sale to AS Monaco will help them towards doing so. Furthermore, Inter could well include a player to sweeten the deal.
Keita has been subject to a wealth of interest from clubs during the mercato including Inter’s rivals Juventus. Keita has just under a year remaining on his current contract in the capital and come January, clubs will be able to poach him for free on a pre-contract agreement.
