Gazzetta dello Sport have predicted Inter’s lineup for tomorrow’s afternoon fixture with Crotone. Gazzetta believe that Roberto Gagliardini will be preferred to Borja Valero and will partner Matias Vecino in the midfield two. Joao Mario will also be preferred to Marcelo Brozovic to play in the number 10 role behind Mauro Icardi.
4-2-3-1: Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, Miranda, Dalbert; Gagliardini, Vecino; Candreva, Joao Mario, Perisic; Icardi.

It’s a good game to practice for life without Borja. Maybe Spal drops Mario to play his role, or maybe he wants to trust Gaglia/Vecino duo to connect midfield to attack. Either way the only time Spal has to make these experiments are games like this one…
Agreed this could be a good game to give Borja a rest and see what other options we have in case Borja is out injured, suspended or just not in form. Actually see Joao Mario as the ideal back up for the regista rola and curious to see how a midfield of Vecino, Gagliardini and Joao Mario would work. Both Gagliardini and Vecino offer a more offensive threat upfront and either could be tried in the pocket behind Icardi, while Joao Mario offers a good passing outlet from the back.
Would also like to see Karamoh, Brozovic and potentially one of Ranocchia/Vanheusden given a run out in the game assuming we do a better job in putting the result to rest by the second half than we did against Spal
Agreed with everything up until Rano part. I’d like to see Vanheusden though
Dude find another nickname for Spaletti… There’s a team in Serie a now named Spal.. You had me confused there for a minute.. Lol.
should be and would be gaglia-borja or vecino-borja.. ^^
