Geoffrey Kondogbia does not wish to return to Inter after his start with Valencia. According to Spanish outlet Plaza Deportiva, the Iberian club wanted to sign the Frenchman outright in the summer but could not due to Financial Fair Play. Valencia and Inter settled on a loan deal with a €25 million redemption fee and the 24-year-old knows if he keeps on performing the way he has, the Valencia leadership will not think twice about making his stay a permanent one at the Mestalla.
Kondogbia spent two seasons with Inter but never reached the heights expected despite showing glimpses here and there. He has made four appearances for Valencia thus far and has one goal in that time.
