Suning have struck up a new partnership with the Evergrande Group, according to Chinese news outlet CCTV. The Evergrande Group are one of China’s leading real estate companies and have a 56% majority stake in Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande.
The partnership covers various sectors from finance to electricity but syncing on the football front in the future can not be ruled out. Moreover, it is suggested that Inter President Erick Thohir could end up with stakes but it is not clear whether that is in the Evergrande Group itself or in Guangzhou, the six time Chinese Super League champions.
Evergrande Group CEO Xiu Yiayin met with his opposite number at Suning, Jindong Zhang yesterday to celebrate the new found partnership.
