With a dominating victory this past Sunday against Cagliari 3-0, Napoli is rolling into the International break with an undefeated season thus far and 2 points ahead of Juventus and Inter. But in usual Maurizo Sarri fashion, he was all business.
When interviewed on Sky Sport, Sarri discussed his discontent with the scheduling between the International players, playing Man City in between two monster Serie A games in Roma and home vs Inter “Roma and Inter? Those two games there is not much to tell the lads, the teams alone you motivate yourself. Signs of growth are showcased in 2nd half vs Cagliari not against Roma and Inter. Now comes the break but many players won’t have it because of their respective National Teams. We will have very little time to work, the calendar is what it is and it’s crazy. The National team schedule is even crazier. It’s either you find a period of the year where you solely have National Team matches or the way it is now becomes simply tough to manage.”
Napoli is the only team in Italy that legitimately scare me. They are absolutely capable of thrashing any team in the league right now, us included. They play fast, unpredictable football and Mertens and Insigne are both able to win matches on their own. I do hope they get tired from the CL matches or they ease on the gas pedal a little until we get to play with them, but in any even this game will be the hardest one for us this year.

Amazing translation lads. Keep it up.
