Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio and youth team coordinator Dario Baccin are to embark on a South American scouting mission Tuttosport report.
The duo are aiming to find the next Facundo Colidio, who they added to the youth ranks during the summer but are also on the lookout for an established big name player in South America or originating from the continent.
Argentine top flight side San Lorenzo’s Paulo Diaz is one name that they could explore further. The Chilean central defender has came in to links with the Nerazzurri previously. The 23-year-old is under contract with the Buenos Aires based outfit until the end of December in 2019. Diaz was viewed as a possible addition during the summer but no move came to fruition at the time.
Inter have one free non-EU spot left for the season and Jiangsu Suning’s Brazilian midfielder Ramires may join the Nerazzurri in the January mercato according to various reports.

Why colidio? He has done or achieved nothing. Coutinho should be the reference point.
because he’s talking about youth team.. ^^
Inter signed coutinho when he was still 14 years old. Anyway, i was trying to say that using Coutinho as reference is better than colidio who might not even gonna break the primavera / first team barrier.
we sign him at the age of 16 in 2008, but he stayed with vasco da gama on loan until 2010, he come to inter at the age of 18. he’s not in our youth team, he’s our first team player. and then in 2012 we loan him out to espanyol, after that we sell him to liverpool. so colidio is the best reference for our youth team..
