Inter midfielder Joao Mario is set to miss Saturday afternoon’s fixture with Udinese. According to Sky Sport, the Portuguese play maker has come down with yet another bout of tonsillitis.
Eder’s condition will also be monitored ahead of the game after he played the full 120 minutes against Pordenone in the Coppa Italia on Monday night. The naturalised Italian was making just his first start of the season having been unable to force his way in to Spalletti’s starting 11 in Serie A and being limited to appearing from the bench.
Joao Mario aside, Inter’s only other confirmed absentee is young defender Zinho Vanheusden who has been on the sidelines for a while with a knee injury. Otherwise, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has a full team to choose from and it is highly likely that he will revert back to his 11 regular starters having made a wealth of changes for the aforementioned Pordenone game.
well i got tonsilitis symptoms also last week and it took me only 3 days to making it recovered. i hope this is not an excuse for him to go out from the team. but if he is really leaving hopefully pastore or the same skill set player will be the replacement
It might be an excuse, but actually tonsilitis can affect you for more than 14 days, depending on degree also after there will naturally be fatigue.
well hopefully that is right, i mean i dont want him to go, as joao mario is actually very useful in the squad, he is a powerful midfielder with lots of quality
yep that stupid excuse (tonsilitis), and this is a hint that he will go for sure
“tonsillitis”
Ok.
