Given the difficulties that Inter face in signing players due to the imposition of UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, the Nerazzurri are looking to the Serie A to find players to strenghten Spalletti’s squad. The reason for this is that Inter can with far more ease insert players as part payment for a player as well as get away with offers that are structured as loans with obligations to buy, domestically in Italy than they can with clubs abroad.
Yesterday news broke that Inter were keen on Sassuolo’s Italian winger Matteo Politano and today FcInterNews reveals that the Nerazzurri have their eyes set on another Sassuolo player as well. According to the report, Inter are keen to bring back Ghanian midfielder Alfred Duncan who came up the youth ranks at the club before being sold to Sampdoria in January 2015.
FcInterNews report further that Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio met with his Sassuolo counterpart Giovanni Carnevali at Inter’s head offices in central Milano two days ago for a first explorative meeting regarding Duncan and Politano. Sassuolo did not shut the door on such a deal but would like to discuss things closer to see the structure of the deal such as which players would be offered as part payment, as well as other figures and sums relating to the deal.
The most likely deal would be a double loan with a forced option to buy at the end of it with maybe one or two players going in the opposite direction to bring down the transfer fee. New meetings regarding the issue is expected over the next few days.
Both of them are average players and should not be in any club hoping for regular CL places. We buy trash and then question how we failed to qualify for CL…
Exactly mate
absolutely !
ah, ausilio and
cunning chinese cheaters and misers who are deceiving inter …
from mkhitaryan and pastore to duncan and politano. Guess what we will get goretzka…lol
Politano was superb against us, really tecnichally good and super fast and at 24 years old he can still improve a lot. Duncan could be an okay back up player and would fit well into a 4-2-3-1 he too is only 24 years old and played well against us..
Politano still can add another dimension i agree, but duncan isn’t better than any of our current midfileder
Duncan can add a couple of things to our squad: 1. he´s a homegrown talent something we need in our squad for European football next season, 2. muscle to the midfield, 3 squad-depth, 4 He´s left footed and from a tactically point of view that´s something we lack – players with a good left foot!
